So, it’s Friday again and with another tru-ish tale of Colfax and the Mile High City. A new 30 MILES OF CRAZY! (#34)! This week: COWS! …. or “Yes, the Stock Show is in Town and Who is Going to Clean Up This Mess??!!”
Yes, the National Western Stock Show is a real thing that happens in the Denver every January for over a hundred years or so. There are steers, pony shows, rodeos, etc… I find the whole thing kinda baffling, but I guess those steaks have to come from somewhere. That said, the whole week long events start with a cow parade through the downtown area.
