Yep, it’s been a long time coming, almost thirteen years, but it’s finally here. I’m getting married…. I’m getting married. It still seems weird and odd in my head. I proposed to K in Boston, along the tree-lined Comm Ave and near one of my favorite statues a year and half ago. So, I’ve had all that time to get the idea in my head, but it still seems weird. I’m sure that the weight of it all will hit me like a ton of bricks in a couple days after all the chaos, ceremony, and drama are complete. Of course, we are not doing a massive ceremony with pomp and long white dresses. That’s not our style at all and neither of us could even either of us in those ridiculous outfits. No, we are doing a simple ceremony in a favorite bar/venue of course with all our friends, and then a big party and music. That’s more our style.
